About 170 boxers from Algeria, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan participated in the tournament. The boxers fought for 10 sets of medals.

Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Mirzakhmedov (49 kg), Vazletdin Nizomiddinov (52 kg), Akmal Kasimov (75 kg), Abbos Atoyev (91 kg) won gold medals of the tournament.

Miraziz Mirzahalilov, Ilnur Abduraimov, Doston Turdiev, Rustam Begiev, Batir Mamajanov and Ulugbekov also claimed the first places in their weight categories.

Uzbekistan also won seven silver and 10 bronze medals of the tournament.
