Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The drop in water pressure and its absence in a number of districts of Tashkent since Friday morning is caused by a fire at a hydroelectric substation in Kibray district of Tashkent region. This was reported by the press service of Tashkent khokimiyat.
“On 22 February 2019, a fire occurred on the territory of a power plant located in Kibray district of Tashkent region, because of which the work of pumping stations was suspended,” the statement said.
“For this reason, in a number of districts of the capital a drop in water pressure or a complete lack of water supply can be observed. At the moment the fire is eliminated. Repair work is underway,” the administration of the capital stressed.
