Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The international expedition “Journey to the Heart of Eurasia,” currently undertaking a large-scale 50-day journey through countries of the region, has arrived in Tashkent. Uzbekistan marks the next stage of the route, with the participants reaching the capital on the 39th day of their journey.

So far, the expedition members have traveled through Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, covering approximately 7,000 kilometers. The delegation includes scientists, journalists, bloggers, and cultural figures. Their main goal is to produce content on topics such as business, media, science, and culture, as well as to explore opportunities for joint initiatives.

The first stop in Tashkent was “Do‘stlik” (“Friendship”) Park, where the expedition members symbolically planted five trees as a gesture of peace and cooperation. They also honored the memory of the fallen at the Brotherly Cemetery by laying flowers at the memorial.

A business meeting was held at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, where participants presented their work, shared impressions of the journey so far, and discussed plans for the remainder of the expedition.
