President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On organization of the Ferghana regional branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan”.

In line with the resolution, Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a proposal on organization of the Ferghana regional branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan.

The branch will train specialists with higher education in the field of culture and art.

The university branch will also increase knowledge and experience, scientific and creative potential and pedagogical skills of professors and teachers.

According to the document, the branch will accept 25 students for bachelor’s degree in direction Acting arts in 2017/2018 academic year, including 10 of them will be accepted on state grants and 15 on contract basis.

Admission to the Branch for 2017/2018 academic year is carried out at the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan.

The branch will be located in the main building of the Kokand professional college of tourism and service in Kokand.
