President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to further improve the field of information technology and communications”.

According to the resolution, the Inspectorate is a specially authorized state body that monitors compliance with legislation in the field of information technology and communications, copyrights in the distribution of phonograms, audiovisual works, programs for electronic computers.

President granted the Inspectorate, from 1 April 2018, the right to identify, obtain information about violations of the requirements of legislation and other normative documents, state standards and quality of services, provided in the sphere of communications, information and telecommunications.
