Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 18 October 2022, the International Week of Innovative Ideas - "InnoWeek.Uz-2022" has begun its work - an event in which the general public and professional circles demonstrate the achievements of science, high technologies, as well as innovative and investment projects implemented in the country.

This year "InnoWeek.Uz-2022" is held under the motto "Green Innovations for Sustainable Development". It is attended by representatives of over 50 foreign countries, more than 100 companies and 40 foreign organizations. Within the framework of the week, the republican stage of the technological development marathon Technoways and the international robotics competition International Robotics Challenge (IRC) are held.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the week, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev noted the importance of introducing innovations in the development of the country’s industry, in the implementation of investment projects, accelerated transition to the digital economy, emphasizing that in the context of global economic competition to continue rapid development will be possible for a country that relies on advanced ideas and innovations.

It was also emphasized that during the exhibition novelties of domestic and foreign technologies, designed to serve to improve the living standards of the population and the growth of the economy, will be shown. Among them are the latest technological products and proposals, unique projects, prototypes and developments proposed for use both in business and in the social sphere, financial and banking sector, agriculture and public administration.

The week that started is intended to become a unique platform for establishing contacts between local and foreign research and innovation centers, investment funds, technology agencies, technology parks and business incubators.
