ICT Week has been held in Uzbekistan each year since 2004. It takes place in the end of September and includes several events dedicated to development of the ICT sector.

The Week is organized by the Committee on Information and Communication Technologies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Coordination Council on development of computerization and ICT, the State Committee for Communications, Information and Telecommunication Technologies, Association of IT Enterprises and Organizations of Uzbekistan and ICTNEWS

The Week will include a National summit on information-communication technologies, which will kick off on 23 September. The participants will discuss development of ICT sector in Uzbekistan and the world, latest software and products in ICT sector, trends in the ICT sector.

The National Summit will also discuss development of e-government and introduction of ICT into libraries, educational establishments, healthcare, etc.

On 24-26 September, Annual National Exhibition of Information Technologies ICTExpo 2014 will be held in Tashkent, Urgench and Gulistan.

The exhibition will be attended by leading ICT companies of Uzbekistan and foreign state. They will present their new products and services, as well as solutions. The e-government will be important direction of the exhibition.

The Week will also include forum of software developers and exhibition of software Bestsoft Uzbekistan 2014, Internet Festival of UZ domain zone, internet contest MIT.UZ, conference of internet providers, seminars on legislative regulation of e-government and others.
