INFOCOM 2011 will be held from 26 September to 30 September 2011 and it will include seceral events dedicated to improving ICT sector.

Committee on information and communication technologies of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, Information-analytical department of information systems and telecommunications of Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan and UzACI, Association of information technologies enterprises and companies of Uzbekistan and CIBGROUP are organizers of the week.

During the press conference, it was noted that the Week will allow to unite efforts of all participants of ICT market – government, public and international organizations. The week will help to speed up ICT development in public and private sector. INFOCOM 2011 will also to help to attract attention of public to achievements of ICT sector and discuss issues of fuller use of ICT benefits.

It is planned to hold various events within the week. In particular, it is planned to hold ICT Summit, which will assist to form own position on ICT sector in Uzbekistan and ICTExpo, which will allow IT companies to present their achievements.
