During the visit, the delegation visited the Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Ilgizar Sobirov and Speaker of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Dilorom Tashmuhamedova, as well as officials of the government.

The sides exchanged opinions on current state and perspectives of bilateral cooperation in various sectors. The sides reviewed inter-parliamentary relations, boosting bilateral contacts in trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and tourism spheres.

Discussing cooperation in tourism, the sides underlined attractiveness of tourism potential of Uzbekistan and Indonesia. The Indonesian side noted that the Uzbek people can be proud of great ancestry and rich spiritual-historic heritage. Holy places of Uzbekistan, such as Imam Al-Bukhari, can be main factor for tourism inflow from Muslim states.

Indonesian delegation praised social-economic achievements of Uzbekistan during independence states. They praised participation of public organizations in the work of parliament.

It was noted that the visit of the Indonesian delegation will serve as stimulus for expanding and strengthening friendly relations between two states.

On the same day, the members of the Indonesian delegation visited the State Museum of History of Temurids and Hazrati Imam (Hastimom) complex, as well as visited Samarkand.
