In the reporting period, the expenses of the state budget were at the level of 7.616 trillion soums. The State budget of Uzbekistan was executed with 0.1% surplus to the gross domestic product (GDP) of the country.

Income of local budgets reached 3.364 trillion soums in January-March 2015, which ensured execution of income part of local budgets with 0.9% surplus.

According to preliminary data, the expenses of local budget were 3.981 trillion soums, which is 1.8% less.

Over 567.7 billion soums of targeted subventions and 367.9 billion soums of transferred income were issued from the state budget to finance guaranteed state payments on primary expenses.

The ministry said that its local bodies and tax committee are working on increasing local taxes and payments, as well as their collection, efficient and targeted use of the budget resources. The territorial programs on gradual decreasing of share of subventions in local budgets and exit from subvention were developed.

In the process of treasure execution of the state budget, untargeted use of budget resources, formation of account payable and purchase of services and goods at high prices for some 241.8 billion soums were prevented in the result of primary and current control.

The off-budget Pension Fund received resources for 2.671 trillion soums in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the forecast volume of 2.66 trillion soums, which is 5.8 billion soums higher compared to forecast.
