Improving the financial literacy of the population and entrepreneurs is on the agenda of responsible organizations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 December 2020, at the initiative of the Central Bank, a discussion of the work done and further plans with the participation of responsible organizations for the implementation of the National Strategy for Increasing the Accessibility of Financial Services for 2021-2023 was held. This was reported by the press service of the Central Bank.

It was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Public Education, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, the State Tax Committee, the Banking and Finance Academy, the Agency for the Development of the Insurance Market, the Agency for External Labor Migration, the Agency for Youth Affairs, Agency for work with mahallabay and entrepreneurship development, the State Committee for Family and Women, the Association of Business Women, the Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship, the School of Farmers and the training center Tadbirkorlar maktabi.

As part of the agenda of the meeting, the work carried out in 2021-2022 to improve the financial literacy of the population, including children, youth, women, labor migrants and their families, and business entities, was considered, and proposals and initiatives were put forward to continue projects in these areas in 2023.

As a result of the meeting, areas of cooperation were discussed and agreed upon for the further implementation of measures within the framework of the National Strategy for Increasing the Accessibility of Financial Services for 2021-2023.
