Improvement departments’ workers to receive allowances from 1 January 2020

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan signed a resolution “On additional measures to improve the efficiency of work in the area of improvement of human settlements”.

According to the decree, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services is determined by the body responsible for studying the problems and methodological support of the land improvement sector.

The resolution approved the “Road Map” to further improve the efficiency of work in the area of improvement for 2019–2020. The territories will be landscaped using the “city for people”, “green city” and “garden city” models.

Starting from 1 January 2020, a number of allowances will be paid to improvement workers.

In particular, compensation will be established in the amount of one minimum wage per meal for employees of the improvement subdivisions.

In accordance with the resolution, the system “Well-planned territory” will be launched.

A procedure was introduced in accordance with which, from 1 January 2020, during the construction and reconstruction of city streets, comprehensive measures are planned for the improvement of the adjacent territories.

In the city of Tashkent, as an experiment, management and process automation systems will be implemented.

From 1 October 2019, legal entities and individuals are responsible for the improvement of the territories attached to them.
