Illegal circulation of potent drugs prevented in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Incidents of illegal circulation of potent pharmaceutical substances have been prevented in Andijan and Tashkent regions.
During operational measures carried out in the Andijan region, a suspect named S.T. and others were detained for violating the law on the sale of pharmaceuticals. They were involved in the illegal trade of 14 packages of the drug "Regapen" and 8 packages of "Tropicamide," totaling 2.9 million soums.
Additionally, 27 more packages of these drugs were seized during the arrest and are now being treated as evidence.
Furthermore, in Akqurgan district of the Tashkent region, a citizen named K.I. was detained while attempting to hand over the drug "Regapen" to M.Z. for the purpose of illegal distribution.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Article 251-1 of the Criminal Code (illegal circulation of potent or toxic substances), and investigations are ongoing.
