Ilham Aliev receives Uzbek envoy to Azerbaijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 February 2012, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the country Ismatilla Ergashev in connection with completion of his diplomatic mission, the press service of the President of Azerbaijan said.

Uzbek envoy Ismatilla Ergashev underlined that his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan was successful and expressed gratitude to the government of Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliev for created conditions for operation of embassy.

President of Azerbaijan said that Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan has historically friendly and brotherhood relations.

Highly praising contribution of Ismatilla Ergashev to strengthening of relations, Ilham Aliev wished him success in future activities.
