ICTFORUM 2015, Information and communication technologies Forum is one of the most significant events, which grabs the attention of experts and professionals of IT-sector. ICTFORUM 2015 will be held for the first time and is expected to become a unique expert area for discussion of relevant ICT trends. The Forum will function for two days (16–17th of September) in the format of block/unit conferences, paralel meetings, master-classes and panel discussions. The Program of the Forum involves a cycle of profiled events, which include conferences such as eGovernment Uzbekistan, BestSoft Uzbekistan and Startup Conference, «ICT and Tourism»; and sectional meetings such as «Telecommunication and Infrastructure», «Internet and information resources», «Information security».

ICTSUMMIT 2015, Information and communication technologies Summit (18th of September) is the greatest event of the Week. It will let the participants summarize the results of IT-sector development for the current year, discuss the strategic tasks which faces the sector and also adopt the Resolution, which is introduced by ICTFORUM 2015 participants. In order to organize ICT Summit state control managers, communication and IT companies’ representatives, international experts and analysts are invited.

One of the brightest events of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2015 is expected to become ICTEXPO 2015 Exhibition of Information and Communication technologies. The event will be organized in unprecedented scale – 150 exponent companies are going to be located on 2000 square meters area. The Exhibition will take place in network format in Tashkent (15 – 17th of September) and Samarkand (15 – 16th of September). It is expected that more than 30 thousand people will attend ICTEXPO 2015.

An awarding ceremony of the winners of BestSoft Challenge contest will be held on the 16th of September within the framework of Information communications and technologies week ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2015. The contest was announced among the students of higher education institutions, schools, colleges and lyceums in the following nominations: best solution in e-commerce, best project in education sector and computer, browser and mobile games. The best project in each nomination will be rewarded by the prize of 10 million soums.

An awarding ceremony on Data.gov.uz Hackathon will take place on the 18th of September. The contest has been conducted with the aim to popularize the idea of the open data in Uzbekistan and to attract attention of programmers and other specialists interested in this new field of expertise in our country. Awards will be granted in the following nominations: best open data service or application, best open data visual solution, and best open data application for Tashkent region.

Uzbekistan Cyber Games FIFA15 National final will be conducted from the 15th till 17th of September. All Uzbekistan citizens at the age of 6 and older are eligible to participate in the competition. Eliminatory matches took place in the game clubs of Tashkent (Alliance Arena), Samarkand (Gamezone), Fergana (Mundial) and Almalyk (Playstation Game) from the 1st till 12th of September.

Long-awaited awarding ceremony of the winners of MIT.UZ Internet contest will take place on the 17th of September. The contest has been initiated to encourage the origination of high-quality Internet-resources. The submitted sites were evaluated on such parameters as, content and interactivity, design and usability, functional and technological facilities and safety. The authors of the winner-sites will be awarded by the valuable prizes among them tablets, notebooks and TVs.

Also as a part of ICT Week the Youth Art Palace will host the national stage of Intellect2All contest. The event is focused on young and creative developers who are invited express themselves in three categories: web-applications, mobile development and virtual reality applications. The final stage of the contest will be held from the 15th till 17th of September where 20 teams will contend the first prize. The prize fund of 6 million sums will be distributed among the top three finalists.

Gadget Fair is another bright event of the Week. Gadget Fair will also be conducted within the framework of ICTEXPO 2015 from 15th till 17th of September on the open-air territory of 360 sq.m. Fair visitors will be able to acquire/purchase the latest models of phones, smartphones and tablets from the leading manufacturers including Huawei who acts as a general sponsor of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2015.
