During the meeting, the guests presented a report on the results of the study of the telecommunications market in Uzbekistan, as well as talked about development of telecommunications in foreign countries, the press service of the ICT Ministry said.

It was said that the EBRD is ready to consider the possibilities of investment cooperation in projects for further development of the country’s telecommunications infrastructure, in particular to increase the speed of access to international networks, the development of broadband access and fiber-optic networks.

The parties agreed to continue consultations at the level of experts to work out and agree on mutually acceptable and mutually beneficial forms of investment cooperation.
