Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 23-24 August, a friendly hockey tournament was held in Tashkent at the Humo-Arena ice complex, dedicated to the 28th anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was attended by the Russian team “Premier”, as well as the hockey teams “Tashkent” and “Humo”.

The tournament was organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism, the Ministry of Defense, the Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Hockey Club.

Greetings to the tournament participants were sent by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Aziz Abdukhakimov said:

“In order to adequately represent Uzbek hockey in the international arena and compete with world leaders, Uzbekistan is adopting the experience of leading hockey powers, among which our permanent partner in many areas of activity is the Russian Federation. We greatly appreciate the attention of eminent teams, including a regular participant in the Night Hockey League, the leading Russian Premier team, in the revival and development of this sport in our country."

The match between the teams “Premier” and “Tashkent” ended with the score 4:3 in favor of the “Tashkent” Team.

The second match against the Humo team was crowned by the victory of the Premier team with a score of 7:6.
