Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Humans received an award for the active introduction of banking products in Uzbekistan. The company outperformed competitors in terms of Visa card issuance rates and the volume of transactions on them. Previously, Visa has already recognized Humans as the leader in issuing cards in the region.
Humans received the Best Fintech 2022 award from Visa, the world leader in the digital payments industry. The international company annually awards banks and fintech organizations that issue bank cards together with Visa. When choosing the winner in the nomination, the pace of issuing Visa bank cards and the volume of operations on them in the region are taken into account. At the end of 2022, Humans became the leader in Uzbekistan. Humans VISA cards provide Uzbeks with access to offline and online purchases anywhere in the world, as well as increase the volume of online payments in the region.
“The share of non-cash payments is steadily growing in Uzbekistan, and we are making every effort to make the transition to new digital tools in the country as comfortable as possible. Thanks to Humans, about a million Uzbeks have already gained access to Visa products, but we do not plan to stop there. The Best Fintech award is another reminder that we are on the right track and are coping with the task that we set at the start - to give Uzbeks access to modern digital technologies. Convenient banking products simplify life, open up new opportunities, develop financial literacy and provide mobility - with Humans VISA cards, any goods and services are available to the user anywhere in the world,” Vladimir Dobrynin, founder of Humans Group.
According to Visa, the volume of electronic payments in Uzbekistan is growing steadily - in the fourth quarter of 2021 alone, their number increased by a third. The issuance of Humans VISA payment cards began in August 2020 in partnership with Ravnaq-bank - both a virtual version and a card on a physical medium are available to customers. A virtual card can be obtained in the Humans application automatically when connecting a Humans SIM card. Customers order a plastic card for free on the website with home delivery or receive it at a point of sale - Humans has already opened more than 1,100 service points in Uzbekistan. Humans VISA cards are accepted both in Uzbekistan and abroad.
“The cooperation of Humans with Visa in Uzbekistan has become a kind of catalyst for the development of fintech in the country. More than two million users already use Humans services - and this number continues to grow. This result was achieved thanks to a deep product expertise and understanding of the needs of the audience - Humans has been working on the Uzbek market for more than 2 years and is constantly improving its products to make them more accessible and convenient.
