Almost all segments of the population take part in it. However, this year the events will be held in a different format. The National Olympic Committee, together with the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports, held an online conference on the organization of Olympic Day.

Olympic Day 2020 will be held at a difficult time due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. But, despite this, every country is preparing for this holiday. Now holding the “Olympic Day” at the proper level in Uzbekistan is one of the main tasks of the two organizations.

The online conference was attended by the NOC Secretary General Oybek Kasymov, First Deputy Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov, the leadership of the NOC and the ministry, as well as regional representatives. Conference participants expressed their opinion on the promotion of this holiday among the population, given the coronavirus pandemic.
