Over 100 teachers and students of the Institute, experts and scholars, public and cultural circles of Monterey participated at the event.

At the presentation, information about Uzbekistan, its cultural heritage, ancient cities like Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva have been presented to the participants. It was noted that Maverannahr (Transoxiana) mad great contribution to global civilization, culture, science, architecture and art. The participants of the presentation familiarized with activities of great Uzbek scholars, who contributed to development of global science.

They also watched documentaries “Welcome to Uzbekistan”, “Pearl of Orient” and a reel about Asrlar Sadosi Festival of Traditional Culture. Tourism potential of Uzbekistan has been also presented.

The event also presented information on activities of Fund Forum, its largest projects and initiatives on support of culture and art, activities of young people, education, sport, charity, etc. Presentation of book “Fund Forum Presents Uzbekistan” has been held within the event.

The participants also had chance to taste Uzbek cuisine, the Fund Forum said.
