The train will deliver humanitarian cargo worth a total of over 90 million soums to the Aral Sea area.

The cargo includes clothes and footwear, medicaments, bedding and children’s toys. Besides, the educational establishments will receive computers and textbooks.

In order to improve the water supply in the region, this year Ecosan also delivered water pumps to Karakalpakstan.

In all, starting from 1 January 2008, Ecosan sent 25 railway and road trains to various regions of Uzbekistan to support the population of remote districts. The total cost of the humanitarian aid made up 1.6 billion soums.
