Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Director of the Agency for Strategic Reforms of Uzbekistan, Bakhoir Rakhmatov, held a meeting with the leaders of consulting firms that are part of the "Big Four."
The "Big Four" includes the leading auditing and consulting firms in the world: Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG.
Attendees included Erkin Ayupov, the head of Deloitte in Uzbekistan; Timur Pulatov, the head of EY operations in the Caucasus and Central Asia; Dilshod Hamraev, the manager of EY’s department and operations in Uzbekistan; Abdulhamid Muminov, the managing partner of PwC’s office in Uzbekistan; and Oybek Yuldashev, the director of PwC’s office in Uzbekistan.
The participants discussed the implementation of promising projects that could significantly impact the economic and social development of Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that the expertise and knowledge of leading global consulting firms could play a crucial role in the successful launch of these initiatives.
Additionally, special attention was given to strengthening reforms in the public service sector. Participants highlighted the need to develop measures to enhance the efficiency of public administration and to introduce modern technologies to optimize the operations of government institutions.
The economic potential of regions such as the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other areas of Uzbekistan was also discussed. Participants stressed the importance of identifying new and unique opportunities for their development, utilizing international practices and innovative solutions proposed by "Big Four" experts.
Furthermore, the parties exchanged ideas on preparing proposals that could be included in the draft text of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s Address to the People and the Oliy Majlis for 2025.
