All five regional Festivals include a two-day workshop for the top coaches of each participating team, offering advice, best practices and other important issues with regard to preparing their players for the competition.
There are two Festivals currently going on - in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for Central Asian teams, and in Beijing, China for East Asian children.
The Tashkent Workshop starts on Saturday with the coaches from the four teams - Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan - expected to attend. The Beijing Head Coaches Workshop starts on Sunday.
After the Workshop, there will also be a ’C’ Certificate Coaching Course for young coaches eager to gain a recognised coaching qualification.
The actual matches kick of next week, when the most talented children from their respective countries have a chance to play against each other in a competitive atmosphere.
