Head coach of Uzbekistan national team fired

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Head coach of Uzbekistan national football team Samvel Babayan was fired from his post, the statement of the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

The statement said that the coaching staff under the leadership of Samvel Babayan did not cope with the task of booking berth in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Uzbekistan Football Federation noted that the coaching staff of the national team of Uzbekistan is completely dissolved.
