Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Hajj pilgrimage season will take place from 23 May to 7 June. This was reported by the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan.
According to the Office, Uzbekistan Airways will operate direct flights to Medina daily from various cities of Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Fergana, Samarkand, Karshi, Termez, Urgench, Nukus and Navoi.
The Republican Public Council for the Organization and Conduct of Hajj and Umrah deals with medical examination of pilgrims, vaccination, and appointment of group leaders.
Pre-departure training is also carried out, doctors and cooks are trained, and travel documents are issued.
The first working group has already arrived in Saudi Arabia to thoroughly prepare for the season and is now carrying out all the necessary organizational work.
