Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, will pay an official visit to the city of Samarkand on 23–24 April.

During the upcoming talks, particular attention will be given to further strengthening the Uzbek-Turkmen strategic partnership and expanding comprehensive cooperation.

Key areas of dialogue will include political and inter-parliamentary relations, trade and economic cooperation, the development of transport and communication links, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

In addition, the two sides will discuss pressing regional and international issues, exchanging views on major aspects of cooperation within the framework of a shared agenda.
