Group G: Germany and USA qualify to play-offs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The United States lost to Germany with the score 0-1 in the last round of the group stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, but qualified to play-offs to the tournament.

An only goal of the match was scored on 55 minutes. Tomas Muller scored his fourth goal in the tournament. It is worth to mention that FIFA referee Ravshan Irmatov officiated the match.

In the second match, Portugal clinched a 2-1 victory over Ghana. Boye netted an own goal to open the score in the match. Ghana striker Asamoa Gyan equalized score, but Ronaldo struck a winner for Portugal.

Germany topped the Group G with seven points. The USA and Portugal have four points each, but the American team advanced due to better goal differences.
