Grand master Rustam Kasimdjanov becomes Asian Games Champion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Grand master Rustam Kasimdjanov won the second gold medal for Uzbekistan at the Sixteenth Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, on Tuesday, 16 November 2010.

On Tuesday, Kasimdjanov defeated Bu Xiangzhi of China and played draw with Kazakhstan’s Darmen Sadvakasov. In the result he collected 7.5 points and became champion of the Asian Games.

Currently, athletes of Uzbekistan won thirteen medals – two gold, five silver and six bronze medals.
