The resolution underlined that Uzbekistan created all necessary conditions and opportunities for further development of modern national variety art, increase professional skills of performers and revealing talented young singers. Talented performers receive support.

At the same time, the resolution noted that ministries and departments weakened work in coordination and control over concert and entertainment activities, creation of highly artistic musical works. The document said that Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs, Uzbeknavo and Council on development and coordination of national variety art are failing to implement legislative documents.

In particular, the Government noted that revealing and supporting young and gifted performs, stimulating creation of musical products, directed to upbringing youth in spirit of patriotism and ideas of national independence, forming healthy creative environment.

The Government also criticized National Television and Radio Company for failure to ensure high artistic level of TV and radio programmes, as well as showing low-quality songs and video clips, which do not comply with spiritual-cultural and national traditions.

The shortages lead to violations of order of holding cultural and entertainment events, poor behavior of singers, as well as performance of poor musical works.

The Uzbek Government said the works of Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan, Uzbeknavo and Council on development and coordination of national variety art, local administrations and Uzbekistan TV and Radio Company were recognized as unsatisfactory.

Cabinet of Ministers approved a regulation on order on licensing of concert and entertainment activity and rates of the state duty for conducting concert and entertainment activities, as well as regulation on order of issuing one-time permission for concert and entertainment event.

Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan was entrusted to adopt measures to fill concert-entertainment and cultural-mass events with deep ideas, establish cooperation with creative unions, state and non-governmental organizations.

Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan, Uzbeknavo and Council on development and coordination of national variety art, local administrations and Uzbekistan TV and Radio Company were recognized as unsatisfactory were given orders to improve work in this direction.

In particular, the Ministry should ensure high quality of concerts via strengthening demands for programme and scenario of the events, Uzbeknavo should ensure rigid compliance of performance to license agreements.

National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan were ordered to improve work on ensuring high artistic level of TV and radio programmes and not to show low-quality songs.
