The contest aims to identify and support the best representatives of the press. Almost 400 journalists participated in the contest with their 5,000 works.

The grand prize went to Madamin Safarov, head of the group of the sociopolitical and socioeconomic programs department of the O’zbekiston TV channel.

The awards were also granted to winners in the TV, radio, press and internet journalism nominations, as well as other areas, like best work of the foreign journalist, best press service and others.
