Tohir Jalilov, executive director on marketing, sales and services of GM Uzbekistan, said that the company started to open new marketing outlets for the products of the company and start to sell cars in neighbouring Afghanistan, North Africa and South America.
He expressed hope that entering to these markets, the company will lift the sales level and reach traditional volumes.
Jalilov also underlined that the Uzbek carmaker should improve quality of the products to strengthen positions in the market, and enjoy consumers in internal market.
GM Uzbekistan increased car production by 4.2% year-on-year in January-November 2009 to 184,572 units.
