Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 February, GM Uzbekistan will extend the warranty period for new cars to 3 years or 100,000 kilometers.
The company noted that in order to keep vehicles in the best technical condition, as well as to strengthen customer confidence, the company will extend the warranty service for new cars from 1 February 2019. Now the warranty period is set to 3 years or 100,000 kilometers (previously - 1 year or 20,000 kilometers).
It should be underlined that the extension of the warranty service period applies to GM Uzbekistan JSC vehicles purchased from February 1, 2019. The warranty is distributed to a specific car and is not related to the owner personally. During the warranty period, the new car owner has the same rights to the warranty.
Improper operation of the car, an accident, changes in the design of the car or the installation of additional equipment, modification or retrofitting of a car, not approved by the manufacturer, leads to a limited warranty.
During the warranty period, the manufacturer will, at no cost, repair cars with replacement parts in case of their failure due to the manufacturer’s fault, provided the owner complied with all the rules for operation, maintenance and care of the vehicle specified in the Operation Manual.
