Commercial gas inflow was recovered from Jurassic limestone at 3,234 m interval depth during formation tool testing of prospecting well No 3 of the Tavakkal prospect area: commercial gas condensate inflow gained through 14mm tubing choke was equivalent to 400 tcm/a day.
The Exploration Department of UzGazOil FSV reported that commercial gas inflow was recovered through 8mm tubing choke from Callovian-Oxford limestone at 3,830-3,850 m interval depth during exploratory testing of well No 1 of the Hudjum prospect area: commercial gas condensate inflow rate was 100 tcm/a day. Well testing is still under way.
Both these results confirm the discovery of new hydrocarbon fields. Specialists working on both ventures are going to lay a certain number of the new boreholes which will enable them to make a detailed estimation of the amount of hydrocarbons reserves that can be recovered.
