Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Acting khokim of Samarkand region Erkinjon Turdimov received a delegation of the German company RIMC Hotels and Resorts.

The sides discussed issues of developing tourism in Uzbekistan, including constructing of new hotels.

RIMC Hotels and Resorts Gert Prantner noted that the German company had set a goal to build a hotel in Samarkand, which would correspond to the glory of this ancient city and meet the needs of the most demanding tourists. We are very pleased that our proposals were positively received by the regional authorities, he added.

At the meeting, the guests expressed their proposals for development of tourism infrastructure in Samarkand region.
