Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan, headed by Zoir Mirzaev, Hokim of Tashkent Region, is on a working visit to Frankfurt am Main, Federal Republic of Germany.

During the trip, meetings were held with the heads of leading German banks, and preliminary talks were conducted on prospects for investment cooperation.

Particular attention was given to negotiations between Hokim Zoir Mirzaev and representatives of the financial company AMK Global GmbH. Founded in 2019 in Frankfurt, the company has successfully implemented a number of large projects in CIS countries and provides services in the fields of renewable energy, management and operating systems, consulting, expertise, and logistics. Among its priorities are the introduction of modern waste processing technologies and the recovery of valuable materials.

The meeting focused on a project to build a solid household waste processing plant in Tashkent Region using innovative German and European technologies.

According to the plan, the new facility will have a capacity of at least 500 tons of waste per day. Its launch will make it possible to establish a modern and environmentally safe system for collecting, sorting, processing, and disposing of solid household waste — an important step toward ensuring environmental sustainability and improving the quality of life for the region’s population.
