Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Germany, consisting of executives and representatives from companies that are members of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia, visited Uzbekistan, Dunyo news agecy reported.

The visit was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the support of the German Economic Representation in Central Asia, as well as the Düsseldorf and Cottbus CCIs and the Mingentec company. The goal of the visit was to expand trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

North Rhine-Westphalia, one of Germany’s most developed industrial centers, is the country’s economic leader. Its regional gross domestic product exceeds 839.1 billion euros, making it a key contributor to Germany’s economic growth.

During their stay in Tashkent, the German business representatives held successful meetings with local companies as part of a business forum and B2B sessions.

They also visited the "Tashkent Technopark" and explored local industrial facilities.

This visit marked an important step toward strengthening Uzbekistan’s international economic ties and expanding the potential of the country’s "green" economy.
