At the session, Akbar Hakimov briefed the participants on the results of the Tashkent international cinema forum “Golden Geupard”, which was held in the beginning of October. He said that the forum was success due to high quality of films and good work of jury.

He quoted German cinema critic Hans Schlegel, who said that level of Tashkent international cinema forum “Golden Geupard” is higher than International Cinema Festival in Moscow. It was noted that demonstration of the Uzbek films was also successful.

Akbar Hakimov said that implementation of joint projects with foreign partners were also achieved. He said that famous French actor and filmmaker Gerard Depardieu agreed to feature in one of Uzbek films.
