Gemalto specializes in digital security technologies and develops solutions for banks, government projects, transport and others.

The meeting was attended by Gemalto Vice-President for State Programs, Fernando Dal Zotto, Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in Switzerland, Sales Director and Director of Innovative and Technical Marketing Gemalto.

The management of the Center briefed the guests on development of ICT and e-government system in Uzbekistan. Including introduction of national ID-cards.

Representatives of Gemalto presented the project on electronic identity cards. Fernando Dal Zotto noted that thanks to an open investment policy, today Uzbekistan is one of the most attractive countries for international companies, especially in the field of innovation and ICT.

At the end of the meeting, both sides decided to consider the possibility of establishing cooperation and agreed to draw up a list of all possible projects in the field of innovation and production of smart cards.
