"Within the framework of Aleksey Miller’s visit to Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the [Uzbek] first deputy prime minister and finance minister, Rustam Azimov, and Deputy Prime Minister Ergash Shoismatov," Gazprom said.

"The course of implementation of an agreement between Gazrpom and the Uzbekneftegaz [oil and gas] national holding company on main principles of carrying out geological exploration of investment blocks in Uzbekistan’s Ustyurt region," and the current state of affairs at the Shakhpakhty deposit were discussed, the concern said.
