Gazprom CEO sees 2009 Central Asian gas price set by yr-end

The price of Central Asian gas for Russian gas giant Gazprom for 2009 will be set before the end of this year, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said Friday.
Gazprom buys gas from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, Prime-Tass reported.
The three Central Asian countries have announced plans to start charging European-level prices for their gas starting in 2009.
