From 1 September, Legal Entities in Uzbekistan Can Contract with Patrol Services for Public Order

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Beginning from 1 September, legal entities in Uzbekistan will be allowed to enter into contracts with the Patrol-Guard Service (PPS) to ensure public safety and order in areas with large gatherings of people. This initiative was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

It is important to note that this measure does not apply to rallies, demonstrations, or other public events.

Applications can be submitted via the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal (EPIGU), at government service centers, or directly to PPS units—either orally or in writing. After the application is registered, officers will inspect the area where patrols are to be organized.

Following the inspection, an official report will be issued, outlining the boundaries of the patrol zone, the required number of personnel, the placement of posts, and operational specifics. Based on this document, a formal contract will be drafted.

The cost of the services provided will be determined in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
