French envoy holds talks with NBU chief

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heuls held a meeting with chairperson of the board of the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity (NBU) Saidahmad Rakhimov on 25 February 2014, the press service of the Embassy of France in Tashkent said.

Saidahmad Rakhimov familiarized the Envoy with the activities and projects of the NBU in financing priority industries of economy of Uzbekistan, including energy, transport and telecommunication sectors.

The sides also exchanged opinion on cooperation between NBU and French banks, as well as other regional macroeconomic issues.
