French envoy holds meeting at Legislative Chamber

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Jacques-Henry Heuls held a meeting with the chairperson of the Committee of Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on international affairs and inter-parliamentary relations and chairperson of friendship group “Uzbekistan-France” Latif Gulyamov on 15 November 2013.

During the meeting, Latif Gulyamov presented information on activities of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and underlined intention of Uzbekistan to develop democratic institutes and further integration of Uzbekistan to international community.

Envoy was also informed about interaction of the legislative and executive power, as well as between parliament and society.

The sides underlined high level of bilateral political relations and high dynamics of development of inter-parliamentary relations between Uzbekistan and France.
