The press service of the Uzbek ministry said that the sides discussed perspectives of development of bilateral cooperation, including expanding inter-parliamentary relations.

The sides also considered issues of cooperation in education. It was noted that the sides accumulated great experience of mutual beneficial contacts among educational establishments and scientific bodies of Uzbekistan and France.

The sides expressed assurance that participation of the French delegation at the international conference “Training educated and intellectual developed generation – as important conditions for sustainable development and modernization of the country” in Tashkent will help to lift implementation of the joint projects in the sphere to new level.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Francois Gauthier participated at the meeting.
