Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – France became the last participant in the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, beating England in the quarterfinal match with the score 2:1.

Aurélien Tchouameni (17th minute) and Olivier Giroud (78th) were on target for France. England's goal was scored by Harry Kane (54) from the penalty spot. Kane also failed to convert another penalty in the 84th minute.

The French national team became the semi-finalists of the World Cup for the seventh time in its history. France will face Morocco on 14 December  In another semi-final on 13 December, Argentina and Croatia will play for the spot in the final.
