Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 January, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan hosted the forum “Scientific Developments and Innovative Projects of Young Scientists in the Military Sector,” organized by the Youth Academy in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The forum was attended by around 250 young scientists representing the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The event aimed to stimulate the development of Uzbekistan’s Armed Forces through science and innovation. The Youth Academy actively supports the innovative work of young scientists across various fields, including defense. In recent years, the Academy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, has organized the “TechnoWays” marathon and the “Future Scientist” competition, with participation from over 200 young scientists and researchers.

The forum summarized the cooperation between the Youth Academy and the Ministry of Defense in 2024 and outlined the work plan for 2025.

The forum featured an exhibition of more than 20 scientific developments and innovative projects by young scientists aimed at strengthening the Armed Forces. Representatives from the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Ministry of Emergency Situations presented six innovative projects. Participants discussed joint projects for 2025.

During the event, 15 young scientists from military educational institutions were ceremoniously awarded certificates and membership badges of the Youth Academy.

The forum concluded with a tour for the young scientists at the Ministry’s Innovation Technopark, where they explored the facilities created for their work.
