In interview, published at uff.uz website, he said that if he receives proposal from Uzbekistan Football Federation, he is ready to consider it. He said that it would be interesting to help Uzbekistan to qualify to World Cup.

He said that he has some knowledge about football in Uzbekistan. He said that there are gifted players, but it is now enough. He noted that right path should be selected and it will help to achieve necessary results.

He underlined that if Uzbekistan selects correct path in next four years, the team can qualify to the World Cup.
