The publication said that stimulation of expansion of export potential of economy and support of exporters helped to increase exports of the country by 11.4% in the reporting period.
Uzbekistan increased exports of liquefied gas, secondary aluminum, lories, wheat, knitted fabrics, fruits and vegetables, and other products.
Uzbekistan started to export 130 new products for US$300 million, including glassware for automobiles, exhausting systems, steel pipes, ceramic tiles, fibre from used PET bottles, children bicycles, carpets, cosmetics, etc.
Bureau on assisting to exports under Uzstandard rendered consulting services on exporting of products to 288 enterprises. The cooperation ties in standardization, certification, accreditation, export of products and introduction of international and country requirements were established with 28 countries.
In the result, exports of small and private businesses grew 1.7 times year-on-year to over US$1.3 billion. Goods for US4329.6 million were exported via foreign trade company Uztadbirkorexport (1.3 times up).
