Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A foreign national was detained at Tashkent International Airport while attempting to import an airgun into Uzbekistan.

According to the customs post "Tashkent Aero," the incident occurred on 21 August at 21:05.

During the baggage inspection of a passenger arriving from St. Petersburg, customs officials discovered an airgun and 290 rounds of ammunition in the passenger’s bag.

An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
