Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, in New York.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed key issues related to the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as preparations for upcoming high-level events.

Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized that the bilateral cooperation agenda is traditionally broad, covering all key areas of interaction.

The importance of adhering to the principle of non-interference in each other’s internal affairs was highlighted, as it strengthens mutual trust.

Saidov and Lavrov agreed to continue maintaining a regular dialogue in the spirit of alliance and partnership.
